304, obs and all the other random stuff pt.1

omg finally. i feel like the happiest person alive now updating my blog. i think my poor blog has never felt so abandoned before. the last time i updated was like december?! okay enough crapping and going straight to the point.okay agenda of today's update: 304'12, OBS, NMiEF and whatever crap i can think of along the way (eg shinee's long awaited comeback) :) okay 1. 304'11! over the 3 months i think (or at least really hope) we have bonded. i mean of course we will know each other better (like duhh) cos if we are still as stranger-like as before i think we really failed as a class so yeah. it's not just about knowing each other's name but this mutual bond! hard to explain cos you need to experience it personally. oh so for the start of the year when ms yao told us to write down one of our secrets, i actually wrote something about how i wished our class is not that awkward or something along that line cos to be honest, i was really afraid the first few days of school! omg especially the first day it was so damn awkward in the classroom i just walked out okay! but now, i think our class is getting along better so yay. okay this paragraph is just beating around the bush wth. okay so now sec3 life. like seriously, when people tell you it's a big leap from sec2, they're not kidding. sec3 is god damn stressful i tell you. i don't even know i'm in a triple science class seriously, not that i like sciences a lot. okay maybe it's just that i can't do humanities that's why. having math every day is a major put off okay! i live through every schooling day in fear, worried that some rubbish pop quiz would just pop out of no where! oh and 304's an intelligent class to obviously the people here mug a lot. peer influence you know! so when you step into class and see everyone mugging their heads off you know you have to do the same! D: so my life now can be summarized into: mugging, eating and sleeping. okay maybe sooner or later sleeping will disappear! D: then i will just stab myself if that ever happens! okay sorry but i'm glad to be in 304 where everyone mugs cos then i would be "motivated" to mug as well. so you mug i mug we all mug and then we all have a higher possibility of getting good results! :D bleh no misunderstand k, i do not like mugging for goodness sake. but now in sec3, i really dread school more than before! whenever i climb out of bed RELUCTANTLY in the morning, the first thing i think about is the never ending worries i have for the day. guys, major put-off okay i tell you. oh and like what i told sueyu today, climbing the bridge when going to school already uses up 80% of the energy i have for the day. so 20% left for the day, NOT ENOUGH OKAY! oh but i have awesome deskies! sueyu, esther and jael! oh and if you wanna count annoying hazel at the back as well! hazel's hobby: poking people with whatever she has and stealing sueyu's shirt, no kidding. okay so basically, im glad to be a 304-er in the year 2012! :D okay shit one point and so long i dont know how long this blog post is gonna be. D: oh yes did i mention i type really incoherently when i just get up from my sleep. like really my english doesn't make sense, my sentence structure is plain rubbish i don't know why people don't reply me "wth are you talking about?!". okay guys so next time if you receive incoherent messages from me, it's either someone stole my phone or i just woke up, bear with me yeah? okay okay OBS! yay OBS! it's not that OBS is the most comfortable place on earth k but i feel so happy on ubin! no the toilet there is not as clean and yes i miss my bed but can you believe it, one whole week not thinking bout school and away from all the troubles. how good can life be there. yes before we went there i was complaining like crazy about how i'll die there. oh and i was so touched cos i needed all the camping stuff for OBS and my relatives we all so caring they lent be whatever they had! AWWWW so then i didn't have to get so many things! see, learning to care and share is important. so first day of OBS when we went there, it was literally pouring and we're like wth first day only and it's already raining. and yeah we were all damn sian cos well, we never knew it would be so much fun there! so we went there early and then did some ice-breakers and the first official activity we did was the bi-lay course. yeah so we learnt how to out on the harness, take in rope when your friend is falling and stuff. i think there was the climber, the bi-layer, the assistant bi-layer and the dead weight. heh the dead weight was just there to make sure the bi-layer does not fly off the ground. yeah so we had to climb, learn to sit in our harness and then our friends will bring us down. okay so it was of a really low height so i climbed and hehe i thought it was fun! and we got fresh dinner on the first day, not happy food like biscuits! and we got to bathe so double yay! oh first night we had to pack our bags for our expedition. omg the bag pack for the expedition can just kill your back no kidding. it's like what 10-20kg? idk but yeah you won't even wanna try! so 2nd day we learnt how to tri-yak in this case cos 3 people to a kayak. yay kayaking was fun! LOL we spammed sun block! so yeah we learnt the basic moves like those where you definitely need to know to not die on the kayak. oh and we had to do a capsize on purpose! and i think the hardest part of kayaking is probably climbing back onto the kayak, especially when you're in the open sea and you cannot touch the ground what so ever. can you belief you arms aching like mad from kayaking and you still needa carry yourself up omg. yeah but for the capsize we did was just near the shore so climbing up was okay for us. then later in the afternoon, we kayaked over to camp2. camp2 is much more uh not as developed lah, as compared to camp one. when we were there we climbed one of the oldest rock walls in singapore. i never did rock climbing before that's why i sucked at it. so i climbed like 1-1.5m above ground then couldn't go up anymore, omg sucks man! camp2's toilet is really smelly btw! and we did outdoor cooking! washing up was baddd!! and sleeping in the extremely warm tent as well. it literally felt like an over and clara and i were just fanning ourselves when others were fast asleep. clara's my favourite tent partner man! she's forever there to talk to me when we can't sleep! so day 3 we set out on our expedition. oh clara and i happened to be the leaders of the day! :D we started with land and yeah that god damn heavy bag pack killed me. we visited this old granny who lives alone, without water supply or electricity! omg so brave okay! yeah and we visited the german girl shrine as well! heh every 15-30min we would take a rest cos the bag is so damn heavy omg i just wanna cry! it's at time like this you start to miss your school bag. yeah so we camped in the wilderness where there was not toilet so in the end the 3 watches had some mass peeing session! omg damn funny! and it's definitely a once in a life time experience cos why the heck would i wanna mass pee again! oh and day 3 was when we finished most of the can food we carried out so my bag pack became a lot lighter!!! dream come true. day 4: sea expedition! so we went out to sea in our kayak! heh no more carrying of heavy bag packs! #dreamcometrue! but kayaking for long hour also not that easy okay! and then we had to wear long sleeve and i think i didn't put enough sun block for my hand or something so now i have a tan line around my wrist area! hehe but actually tan line quite cool! :D yeah so then we kayaked and had to navigate our way through a lot of mangrove! and when we finally saw the sea we were the happiest people alive okay! BUT after a while the tides were against us so we had to kayak so much harder and i know myself i was getting freaking frustrated! so sorry clara and calista! yeah but basically after we completed the sea expedition i really felt very very very accomplished! and then we got to shower again and that felt like the best shower ever okay! anyway random but the first day i saw a cockroach in the toilet, second day i saw a dead millepede and then third day we didn't get to bathe and fourth day i saw a moth omg. thankfully no lizard in the toilet. oh note of advice: bring more insect repellent and powder cos they remove body odour when we stink but don't get to bathe! oh the rest of day 4, after kayaking for 6 hours around half of the island, the rest of the time was spent more on cleaning up. oh day4 night we had this celebratory dinner or something like that so we made our own dishes. heh very satisfied with my watch's food! omg haven't mentioned my watch name! OBS sui sen'12! btw we're damn cool okay. omg this blog post exceeded the acceptable memory of 1MB! darn so i'll need to split! D: |
